Huge shift in support from Microsoft

The BBC may face legal action after reporting that a potential security hole in Micrososft’s flagship new ‘Vista’ Operating System could potentially allow remote users to issue VOIP (Voice Over IP) speech recognition for commands such as ‘copy’ and ‘delete’.

An unconfirmed source points out that the feature was an enhancement to allow support engineers so offer “rapid, free, hands-off support” to users experiencing difficulties with its products. The feature was not supposed to launch until April 1st but has clearly beaten the OS itself by arriving earlier than planned.
