“Virgin Galactic is constructing up to seven commercial spaceships that will fly 87 miles (156 kilometres) above the earth’s surface to give passengers about 5 minutes of weightlessness. Commercial flights to space could be taking off from Britain within five years”.
My last three journeys on Virgin Trains have had broken air-conditioning and toilets, none has been on time and they consistently cram more people into the gangways than is safe, so I think I’ll pass on the ‘Galactic’ travel thanks.
