The suggestion by my good friend Vince to attach the USB stick to a keyring which you can whistle at and it replies sounds like a trick used in the 70’s for your car keys. I haven’t come across one of those for years, so maybe there’s a new market opportunity?
Anyway, the last time I lost my stick/pendrive it was placed in the back of a cronky old cafe PC in rural Southern Spain. I wonder what decibel level I’d need to communicate with it from Cumbria….
